AASW Social Work Congress 2026
Sally is thrilled to be taking the stage at the 2026 AASW Social Work Congress, joining social workers from across Australia for a celebration of bold ideas, meaningful practice and real-world impact. Expect plenty of passion, practical insight and a little personality along the way!

Sally was honoured to be requested in giving the graduation address to fellow Social Work, humanitarian and education graduates at Chales Sturt University Port Macquarie in 2025.

Sally is a proud descendant of the Gubbi Gubbi mob and dedicated Social Worker, Sally is focused on the social impacts of disability, particularly those with neurodivergence. She developed, authored and published the children’s book, ‘Sid goes to Kitty Land: A book introducing autism and therapy’.

Sally delivered a keynote address at the ACDN conference in Tasmania, September 2025 along side prominent specialists in the field of neurodiversity. Sally delivered a session of supporting family wellbeing underpinned in the 2025 ACDN theme 'connection through play'
*Usage of the term Disorders for the conference is intended to align with current DSM-5-TR terminology.

At Wellness Through Fortitude we strive ourselves on sharing information, advocacy work, and participating in our local community.
Our biggest highlight to date was being the proud recipient of the International Women's Day Scholarship that has allowed us to provide a copy to every school and council library in the Port Stephen's area. We would love to be able to one day take this even further!
