Sid goes to Kitty Land is a beautifully illustrated children's book that was developed to fill a gap in explaining autism and associated therapies to children engaged in early intervention.  

There are many incredible books out there that discuss and explain autism and self-acceptance. However, none touch on the concept of therapy and autism from an early childhood intervention perspective quite like Sid goes to Kitty Land. 

Many children are diagnosed in early years, prior to having the capacity to understand their diagnosis. From birth to six our special young ones engage in many therapies to support their needs. This can include speech therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and psychology. Many children are engaged in these services before knowing or understanding that they are neurodivergent. This can lead to the questions of 'why do I have special helpers, friends or adults and my friends don't?'
